Zao was inducted into the Yoga Alliance at its highest teaching level. After many years of studying and teaching yoga, Zao has combined the best of the East and the West, weaving the two together into her own unique style of teaching. Her teaching experience includes Iyengar yoga, Vinyasa, Hatha, Ashtanga, Bikram and Yoga therapy. From more than 10 years of teaching, she has developed her own teaching style which is clear, nourishing and distinctive. She believes that everybody can do yoga and can get benefits from practicing yoga. She believes that by practicing yoga and breathing consciously, we connect to the inner core that creates and supports alignment in even the most challenging poses and the most difficult time in our lives. She knows that yoga is a way to achieve true happiness and inner peace.
Zao has studied yoga from east to west with more than ten yoga masters, including Yogi Mohan, the founder of the most prestigious yoga institute in China, yogi Kamal Singh, who is called the king of yoga adjustment, Sri. O.P. Tiwari, a famous pranayama master in India and Stacy McCarthy, a famous yoga mentor in the U.S.
Zao also practices yoga with her mother and daughter, enjoying the feelings of happiness, peace, and harmony that it brings to them, building upon their relationship and enabling them to grow further. Zao enjoys teaching family yoga, kids’ yoga and partner yoga.
Zao holds a BA Degree in Chinese Traditional Medicine. Zao has almost 20 years experience of Chinese Traditional Medicine practice. Zao realizes practicing Yoga stimulates pressure points and meridians in the same way that acupressure does. The flow of internal energy is being boosted through Zao’s yoga teaching.
